Living away from one's home country can be exciting, enriching, and inspiring! It can also be isolating, intimidating, and anxiety-provoking.

Family relationships and raising children can be complicated in the easiest of contexts. Adding the element of being an expat, or simply away from extended family,  adds an entirely different dynamic.
