ABOUT ME
"The best way to find yourself is to lose yourself in the service of others" ~Mahatma Ghandi
Hello! I am Leilani and I am ecstatic that you are here, taking the first step in helping yourself and/or your family. I have a passion for helping others and look forward to understanding how I can support you.

I am originally from Reston, Virginia, USA (a suburb of Washington, D.C.) and spent most of my life in various parts of Virginia. For the past seven years, I have lived abroad with my family in London, UK and Dubai, UAE.
I graduated with high distinction from The University of Virginia with a degree in Psychology and a minor in Religious Studies. After conducting research on parenting skills in at-risk communities, I pursued a Master's degree at The College of William and Mary. My focus on Marriage and Family Counseling has prepared me to work with individuals and groups with a systemic perspective.

I have credentials as a Qualified Mental Health Professional. While working in private practice, Upper/High Schools, Lower/Elementary Schools, and community settings I have supported numerous clients and their families optimize their lives. This might include facing challenges in parenting, low confidence, peer conflict, familial conflict, anxious symptoms, depressive symptoms, symptoms of ADHD & ADD, academic challenges, organizational deficits, or a simple desire to want more out of life!

I support individuals as young as 4 to older adults with reaching their personal goals, building strong family units, repairing relationships, and becoming peaceful, intentional parents and family members. I love working with all types of families and also have a passion for working with people who live away from their home countries. I understand the intricacies and complications of living, working, and raising a family abroad.
In my free time, I enjoy being active, time outside, traveling, being creative, baking, and spending quality time with my family and friends!
